How do I qualify to become

•Any angler can purchase a Cast for Cash membership and be a part of Berkley’s bait contingency program. Become a member here.

How do I become eligible to win Cast for Cash contingency prize money in sanctioned tournaments?

•To be eligible to win Cast for Cash prize money, anglers must become registered members of the contingency program and follow all Cast for Cash Terms and Conditions to remain eligible. Review the rules and regulations here. Cast for Cash memberships are based on a calendar year. Anglers who wish to remain a part of the program from one year to the next much purchase the following year’s Cast for Cash membership.  

How do I Register?

•Login to your Berkley-fishing.com account or register for an account.

•Register for your membership and select four (4) Berkley baits.

•Purchase membership.

•Receive confirmation email.

•Print off membership card (found in confirmation email and on Berkley-fishing.com account profile) and bring to tournament.   Can I purchase my friends and family members a Berkley Cast for Cash membership?

•Yes. There is a limit of one Cast for Cash membership per angler. However, anglers can purchase as many as they would like for family members and friends.   Do I have to create an account on Berkley-fishing.com to become a Cast for Cash Member?

•Yes. Berkley requires anglers to create an online account before purchasing a membership. This helps to ensure that members are always able to access their membership ID(s).    How do I receive/retrieve my membership ID?

•Downloadable and printable Membership IDs are sent to the email entered at registration after a membership is purchased.

•Membership IDs will also be accessible at any time on the Berkley-fishing.com account profile of the customer who purchased the membership ID. These IDs are also downloadable and printable.

•If a friend or family member purchased your Membership for you, your membership ID will initially be sent to the email used during registration. The ID will thereafter be available on the Berkley-fishing.com account of the angler who purchased the Membership.  

Rules

For an angler to be eligible to win Cast for Cash contingency prize money, he or she must follow the rules and regulations listed below. Please read through the following rules carefully.

1.        Anglers must use Berkley hard or soft bait in sanctioned tournaments to be eligible to win    Cast for Cash contingency prize money. 

2.        Anglers must purchase a membership and register for Cast for Cash online no later than 48 hours before a tournament to be considered eligible, he or she will then be eligible for Cast for Cash sanctioned tournaments through the remainder of the year.

3.         Anglers must have their Cast for Cash membership ID and a valid government issued ID available to present to officials at all Cast for Cash sanctioned tournaments. A membership ID will be emailed to each angler upon registration.

4.         If fishing in a team tournament, both anglers must be registered Cast for Cash members to qualify for Cast for Cash pay outs.  There will only be one payout awarded per team.

5.         An angler must indicate that he or she is a Cast for Cash member when registering for sanctioned tournaments and must comply with all tournament guidelines to be eligible to win Cast for Cash prizes.

6.         Each angler must display a Cast for Cash membership decal (provided in the Berkley Pro Pack) on a visible area of his or her boat.

7.         Membership is annual, lasting from January 1st or the date purchased thereafter, and will expire on December 31st of that same year.

8.         Tournaments must have a minimum of 20 boats to be a Cast for Cash sanctioned event.

9.         Anglers must comply with all sanctioned tournaments’ guidelines.

10.      Anglers must be willing to submit to a polygraph test at any sanctioned tournament. It is at the discretion of the tournament director to decide if a polygraph test should be conducted.

11.      Cast for Cash winners are responsible to pay all taxes on Cast for Cash contingency winnings.

12.      All decisions on eligibility and payment will be made by tournament directors at Cast for Cash sanctioned tournaments.  In the event of a dispute, Berkley reserves its right to make final determinations on eligibility and payment, and any such decision will be made final. 

13.      Tournament directors will award payouts in a timely manner and as they see fit. Payouts should be sent to Cast for Cash prize winners within no more than thirty (30) days after the sanctioned tournament.

14.      I consent to and authorize Pure Fishing, Inc., and its affiliate companies, to capture and use my appearance, image, voice, photograph, video, quotation, or any other likeness, for any purpose, including but not limited to, educational, promotional, or marketing/advertising purposes and in any media format. 

15.      IN NO EVENT SHALL PURE FISHING BE LIABILE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE DAMAGE OR LOST PROFITS REGARDLESS OF THE NATURE OF THE CLAIM OR NOTICE GIVEN. THESE LIMITATIONS WILL APPLY TO ALL CLAIMS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTY, CONTRACT, INDEMNITY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR STRICT LIABILITY.  PURE FISHING’S MAXIMUM LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT OF CAST FOR CASH PRIZE MONEY AVAILABLE DURING THE EVENT AND IN THE CIRCUMSTANCES GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
