It was a great day on the water at Lake Lopez for the third stop of the season. The coastal weather was finally in full swing for this event with the morning in the mid 50's and jetting up the low 90's in the afternoon. We had 40 teams show up to do battle and by the time weigh in was done we had 376.99lbs of fish being weighed.
In 1st place with a total weight of 25.45 and the tournaments big fish was the team of Matt Clausen and Troy Tidwell. The team said they have not fished the lake much and had to just go fishing. They caught there fish on everything from worms to reaction baits all day long. They had total winnings of $1985
In 2nd place with a toatal weight of 21.13lbs was the team of Ray Huff and Tim Caudle. The duo had a solid bag of fish in which they caught on small swimbaits,worms and other reaction baits. They took home winnings of $930
Rounding out the top 3 with a weight of 17.53lbs was the team of Meade Hendricks and Steve Morris.They caught there limit on senkos and worms for a total winnings of $605
